Ex-Satanist Warns Against Celebrating The Halloween

1 Mins read

An ex-satanist is warning against celebrating Halloween by comparing it to having a one-night stand with the devil.

Evangelist and author John Ramirez once practiced occult and satanism until Christ transformed his life. Today, he is warning every Christian not to celebrate Halloween. This yearly celebration might seem to be innocent or alluring but the truth is, it opens the door to dark forces.

“There’s a quote by Anton Lavey, founder of the Church of Satan, where he says in his own words, ‘I want to thank every Christian parent,’ not Buddha, not Muhammad, none of that. … ‘Every Christian parent, I want to thank them that [they] allow [their] children to celebrate the devil one night out of the year,’ which is Halloween,” John said warningly, “He’s intentionally thanking Christian parents. Thank you for dressing up your kids, changing their identity, sacrificing spiritually.”

He then compared Halloween to a one-night stand with the devil. Christians celebrating this demonic holiday is like cheating on Jesus Christ.

The former satanist then called out to every Christian to take spiritual warfare seriously.

“Jesus never took the devil lightly in the Scriptures. Jesus confronted the devil. He didn’t talk about him, He confronted him,” he said. “Jesus, every time He confronted the devil, whether in the wilderness, through Peter when He told Peter, ‘Get behind me, Satan,’ or through Judas. So why can’t we follow in the footsteps of Jesus? Who cast out more devils than Jesus?”

As Christians, as believers of Christ, we need to put the devil back in his place. Let us not let the enemy play trick or treat on us, we must wage war against every scheme of the enemy!

Publishers Note: Halloween has become one of our biggest holidays. In fact, it is being projected that Americans will spend more than 11 billion dollars on Halloween this year alone. Americans even spend approximately 700 million dollars on costumes for their pets each year. One survey found that 93% of Americans celebrate Halloween in some way.
