And the site had plenty of data to explore, considering that it has 150-million visitors per year, according to Christianity Today.
In the end, Bible Gateway’s findings, which were based on search habits, were quite fascinating. Based on the results, the four most searched and read verses after these events are John 16:33, Psalm 34:18, Romans 12:19 and Psalm 11:15:

Psalm 34:18: “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
