Brandon Lake Wins Twice at K-Love Awards

Brandon Lake won for male artist of the year and worship song of the year, while Anne Wilson, For King & Country, and Elevation Worship also took home honors during the 11th Annual K-Love Fan Awards broadcast on TBN recently. Lake claimed the Worship Song of the Year award for Praise You Anywhere, which spent 42 weeks on Billboard’s Hot Christian Songs chart and rose to No. 1. Wilson won Female Artist of the Year, Elevation Worship Group of the Year and For King & Country artist of the year.

TobyMac nabbed song of the year honors for Faithfully, while Seph Schlueter won breakout single of the year with Counting My Blessings. The show was held in Nashville’s Opry House.

It was Lake’s second straight male Artist of the Year K-Love award. His ministry, he told media members, has mirrored his life verse: Ephesians 3:20 (“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine …).

“I asked Him for a lot less than this,” Lake said. “And He has exceeded that and much more.”

Wilson last won Female Artist of the Year in 2022. (Lauren Daigle won in 2023.)

“Ultimately, at the end of the day, the reason that I keep going and I keep doing it is for His glory and Him alone,” Wilson said during a post-award news conference.
