Pro-Life Woman Stunned to Find Her Picture Used to Promote Abortion

1 Mins read

A conservative woman is claiming the pro-choice website “Shout Your Abortion” used a photo of her without her permission to promote an article about a 23-year-old woman who has terminated three of her pregnancies. Molly Schaap, 24, said in a statement to The Daily Wire that she wants to “make it clear that I have never had an abortion.” The story, written by a woman identified only as “Heather,” has since been removed without explanation.

In the article, Schaap recalled, the woman “said she is proud of who she is and her actions, yet she used a picture of a random stranger instead of herself. I am appalled that my photo has been used in this manner.”

“All of my life,” Schaap continued, “I have been pro-life and I believe that life begins at conception. I have personally donated to pro-life causes and believe that every life is valuable. As a Christian, I believe that God is the author of life and life is not ours to take away.”

“If Heather really exists,” Schaap explained, “I want her to know that she has value and is loved despite the unfortunate life choices she has made. the Bible clearly teaches that God is a forgiving God. As a Christian, I strive to embody the love of Christ. Passing judgement helps no one. I hope that my story challenges you to think twice before making a comment on the internet and instead think of other ways to promote choosing life.”

Schaap said she hopes her experience and her comments help comfort women who might be “experiencing the aftermath of abortion” or those who haven’t yet terminated their pregnancies, reminding them there are options available “to choose life.”
